Maddy Lehn scored twice in the first period and the Rogers Royals went on to defeat Cambridge-Isanti 3-1 at home Tuesday evening.
Lehn scored even-strength at 2:47 with assists from Olivia Olson and Ellie Fellien, and on a power play with two seconds left in the period, assisted by Paetyn Levis and Gabby Billig.
Jordan Ramey got the Bluejackets on the board in the second period. Rogers clung to the 2-1 lead through the third period and added a goal by Fellien with 12 seconds left.
Rogers outshot the Bluejackets 41-29. Michelle Klimstra made 28 saves for Rogers and Abby Haug had 38 for the Bluejackets.
Rogers is 3-0 in the Mississippi 8 and 5-2 overall. Cambridge-Isanti is 0-3 and 0-7.
The Royals will host St. Francis/North Branch on Dec. 10.
