Wrestling: Sting have one champ, Killeen, in opening tourney at Osseo

Six of eight Spectrum wrestlers placed in their season-opening Osseo Invitational on Saturday.

Ryan Killeen was the 126-pound champion. He became the first Sting wrestler to pick up a title at Osseo.

Esteban Teigen placed third at 113, Luke Nolden fourth at 132, Shane Herrlin fourth at 182, Steffen Salfrank sixth at 120, and Noah Rogers sixth at 152.

Spectrum, the lone Class A team in the tournament placed eighth of 10 teams, with six open weights.

The Sting will wrestle at Norwood-Young America on Tuesday.
