The St. Francis Saints scuttled the Zimmerman Thunder 63-36 on Friday evening. Bryce Kulsrud, off the bench, sank 18 points on six 3-pointers. The Saints set a school record with 28 steals, said coach Ryan Hauge, led by Austin Carlson with eight. Hauge added, “Zimmerman collapsed on our inside players, who found shooters at the wing and Kulsrud benefited.” Cory Wald added 10 points for the Saints (2-0). Kristian Bright scored 13 and David Molinari 9 for Zimmerman (1-2), which was limited to 12-for-30 shooting on field goals. The Thunder will host Rocori on Thursday.
