Benefit for Pomeroy Maland

11-30 Benefit photo_terriA spaghetti dinner and silent auction benefit for Terri Pomeroy Maland will be from 1-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at KJ’s Refuge, 26211 184th St. NW, Orrock.
On Aug. 12, 2013, Terri was diagnosed with brain cancer. She had a gliosarcoma grade IV tumor removed on Aug. 16. She has gone through six weeks of radiation and the first round of chemotherapy. Terri has not been able to work since her diagnosis. Family and friends are hosting the benefit to raise money to help with medical expenses. They have also setup a fund at Wells Fargo.
Dinner will be served from 3-5 p.m. The night also includes a silent auction, door prizes and music by The Fugs and My Name is Ellipsis. Cost is $15 donation for adults, $10 for kids under 10 years old.
