Thunder fall awards, leaders listed; two gridders get GRC honors

Noah Lunning and Alex MacGregor of Zimmerman each received special conference awards, announced coach Tom Kish. Lunning was named the Granite Ridge Conference’s top defensive back, while MacGregor, a kicker, shared the special teams player award. Both are seniors.

•Brooke Borchardt, Zimmerman’s first 1,000-kill player, was MVP of the volleyball team and got her third all-conference award.
