Police investigate theft at Game Stop

Elk River Police are investigating a theft at Game Stop in Elk River.

A 31-year-old Cambridge man called Nov. 17 to report  the crime. He told police three males were in the store in the 18000 block of Zane Street and took at least two boxes of merchandise according to Elk River Police Capt. Bob Kluntz.

A fourth person, a female, appeared to be a decoy, he told police.

The suspects were  last seen fleeing on foot and later entering blue 4 door SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango.

The stolen gaming consoles are valued at $230 apiece.
