Hockey: Rogers girls trip SRR 2-0

The Rogers Royals notched an early power play goal and went on to defeat Sauk Rapids-Rice 2-0 at home Friday evening.

Madison Lehn scored 5:57 into the game, assisted by Cassie Conrad. The Royals made it 2-0 in the second period when Kayla Bolster came through with an assist by Paetyn Levis.

Michelle Klimstra made 27 saves in the shutout.

The Royals (2-1) will play at Princeton on Tuesday.
