Spectrum’s Sting Swing golf event nets $7,000 and lots of fun

 Spectrum High School’s “Sting Swing” golf fundraiser was held Friday, Sept. 27, at Riverwood National Golf Course. The event raised $7,000, announced school spokesperson Brenda Schulze, which exceeded the goal of $5,000. The first place team was Team Central Bank, consisting of Devin Odegard, Trevor Bakken, Wade Anderson, and Dave Dawson. Runners-up was Team Piper Jaffray, consisting of Bruce Sortensen, Cevin Petersen, Vanessta Spark, and Brett Spark. The “random 8th-place winner” was Team J&A Glass, consisting of Jamie Conrad, Dave Blasing, Jim Brown, and Mike Blaske
