The Spectrum Sting picked up a volleyball win and raised some cash for cancer at home on Monday evening. The tight game two was settled on a stuff block by Maddie Hayes, who had six kills. The Sting (4-10) served 28 aces with Jasmine Nelson notching six, Ellie Rogers five and Susan Newberger four. The team wore pink as they hosted their annual Pink Out event, raising $244 in donations for the local American Cancer Society chapter. The Sting will play at St. Croix Prep on Thursday.
