Elks go for stripes and polka dots today

Elk River High School students got into the spirit of Homecoming today (Oct. 1) with stripes and polka dots.

This and other dress up days will lead up to  a pep fest to include the crowning of a homecoming king and queen at 12:45 p.m. on Friday,  Oct. 4. A parade for the whole community will follow at 5 p.m. The parade will span from Parker Elementary School to VandenBerge Middle School along School Street.

The Elk River football team will take on Armstrong at 7 p.m.

Oct. 2 will be Western Wear Day and Service Project Day. Oct. 3 will be Workout Flashback Wear Day. And on Oct. 4 it will be Spirit Day with students dressed in school colors.
