Swimming: Elk girls outstroke Anoka

The Elk River-Rogers-Zimmerman swimmers defeated Anoka 96-82 at home Thursday evening.

“We had a very strong meet, even though seemingly half the team has been sick,” said coach Luke Johnson.

Taylor Odegard won the 50 and 100 sprints and swan on winning medley and 400 free relays. Jessica Young took the backstroke and 500 free. Allison Sterneman won the 200 free and Anya Larson won butterfly.
