Soccer: Royal girls blank Chisago Lakes 2-0 for sixth straight win

The first-place Rogers Royals posted their sixth straight win, and fifth shutout in that span, 2-0 over Chisago Lakes on Tuesday evening in Lindstrom.

The Royals lead the Mississippi 8 with a 5-0 record. They are riding a six-game win streak, allowing only one goal. Overall, the Royals are 7-4, having started the season 1-4.

Rogers handed Chisago Lakes (4-4-3 overall) its first Mississippi 8 loss.

The Royals are the only Mississippi 8 contender to avoid multiple ties. St. Michael-Albertville is 3-0-3, Princeton 3-1-2, and Chisago Lakes 2-1-3.
