The Rogers boys placed second and the girls third among nine schools at the Big Lake Invitational on Tuesday.
Buffalo won the boys race with 46 points, followed by Rogers with 66 and Blaine with 86.
Monticello had five of the top six runners in the girls race and won with 18 points, followed by Buffalo with 111 and Rogers with 113.
Reed Parent led the Rogers boys, placing third (16:31). Caleb Burke was 10th (17:35), Carl Parent 12th (17:41), Cullen Young 20th (17:54) and Tyler Bethke 21st (18:01).
Jackie Lindfors led the Rogers girls, placing seventh (15:49). Jenna Karls was 22nd (16:45), Maddie Mikolich 25th (16:51), Brittany Dorn 26th (17:02) and Leah Lyngen 33rd (17:19).
Individual winners were Frank Graham of Buffalo in 16:17 for 5,000 meters and Amber Seidenkranz of Monticello in 14:44 for 4,000 meters.
Rogers will run at Buffalo on Thursday, Sept. 26.
