A fall institution is back.
The Parade of Homes offers a chance to peek inside 324 new model homes in the Twin Cities. None are in Elk River or Zimmerman, but there are six each in Otsego and Rogers.
The Parade is in its 65th year and is sponsored by the Builders Association of the Twin Cities. Models are open from noon to 6 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays through Sept. 29. The lowest-priced home is No. 194, a $179,900 four-bedroom house by Shamrock Builders and located in Big Lake.
The most expensive home is No. 282, one of the BATC’s Dream Homes. This Afton house by Divine Custom Homes is priced at $2.18 million.
All the homes are free to tour with the exception of three Dream Homes that each request a $5 donation to the BATC Foundation to enter.
For more information, go to www.ParadeofHomes.org or pick up a guidebook at Holiday Stationstores.
