Tennis: Elks top Maple Grove 5-2

The Elk River tennis team rolled past Maple Grove 5-2 on Wednesday in Maple Grove, improving to 4-0 in conference play and 4-1 overall. The Elks lost a hard-fought 1-doubles match in two tie-breakers. Danielle Dokken and Brooke Burns bounced back from a first-set loss to take the 3-doubles point. Next for the Elks is a Duluth East tournament on Saturday.
