Great River Family Promise, an outreach for homeless families in the Elk River area, has grown.
The Elk River-based ministry added a part-time case manager. Amber Johnson, who is from the Elk River area, has been hired to help with the intake process to support Jess Hartfiel, the executive director of the fledgling operation.
Johnson was described in a press release as having a “true heart” for helping homeless people.
Vista volunteer Casey Cable has been added to the outreach, too. He will help spread the word about the program and will work with volunteers to build programs.
