Possible break-in at E and O Tool investigated

policelights_ca_420_1A supervisor for E and O Tool in Elk River reported at 4:11 a.m. on July 12 that someone broke a window in the office area of the manufacturing business.

The 35-year-old Princeton man told police that the business’ cleaning staff located the broken window, and that they found the doors leading outside were also unlocked.

Police learned that a rock broke the window, and it appeared that a suspect unlocked the window and used the crank to gain entry, according to Elk River Police Capt. Bob Kluntz.

The supervisor said that he did not know if anything was missing, and he wouldn’t know until the office staff gets there in the a.m. As of Monday morning, police still didn’t know if anything was missing.

Police photographed the damaged office area of the building located in the 19000 block of Industrial Boulevard.
