Brian Douglas Buckingham, age 65, of Madelia, MN, died on July 5, 2013, at his home after a long battle of heart disease and COPD.
Interment will be in the Camp Ripley Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.
Brian Douglas Buckingham, the son of John Paul and Dorothy Frances (Noonan) Buckingham was born on April 3, 1948, in Minneapolis, MN. Brian and his family moved to Dayton, MN in 1956, where he attended the Elk River High School until he was drafted into the Army from 1968-1970. Then he moved to Princeton in the 90’s and worked for ECM Publishers. Brian retired in 2008 and resided in Madelia. He loved being outdoors, fishing, hanging out with friends around the campfire, watching Nascar, football and basketball. He enjoyed crosswords, Jeopardy and trivia games.
Brian is survived by his sister, Dyanne Lerew (friend Don) of Little Falls; brothers, John Buckingham (friend Sandra) of Elk River and Bruce (Nancy) Buckingham of Madelia and 8 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home, Pilgrim Chapel in Madelia.
