Thursdays in August, Sherburne County 4-H provides day camps for any youth that have completed grades K-7.
Here’s the schedule:
•Aug. 1: Nature-cize, Sand Dunes State Forest, Ann Lake, Zimmerman. Learn fun things about being outside and the benefits of being active.
•Aug. 8: Furry, Scaly, Feathery – Awesome Animals, Sand Dunes State Forest, Ann Lake, Zimmerman. Learn fun facts about animals and some camp songs.
•Aug. 15: STEM, Sherburne County Fairgrounds, Elk River. Learn about Lego robotics, food science, aerospace, engineering and lots of other science activities. Walk on cornstarch, launch water rockets and program Lego robots to maneuver through a maze.
Camps run from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Registration and fees are due July 25.
