Elks’ Trapp snags running/leadership scholarship

 

Ryan Trapp, Elk River runner and skier, is one of two students receiving Twin Cities in Motion college scholarships, along with Molly Ann Kuhs of Edina.

They were chosen from a field of more than 90 applicants, based on running accomplishments, academic performance and community service. Candidates were also asked to write a personal essay.

Trapp impressed selectors with his team leadership and his community service (Youth in Government, Link, and Web Leader of the Year).  He will attend University of St. Thomas.
