Wetherille, senior-to-be, edged Isaac Johnson, Anoka freshman-to-be, in the finals 10-9 (8-6). Johnson, who played No. 2 for Anoka this spring, won the NWSC tournament in Coon Rapids last week.

NWSC tournaments are held throughout the summer at various sites. Elk River will host a girls tournament in July.
Mark Schatza and Patrick Gallagher of Anoka won doubles on Monday. Haack and Tyler Creelman of Elk River placed third among 14 teams.
