Over 160 works by students were shown at  the Zimmerman High School Art Show on May 15.

Angie Creech, a senior, had the piece singled out for the People’s Choice Award. Her clay sculpture “Giraffe” got the most votes among 700 cast by viewers of the show.

“Angie’s Giraffe was a huge favorite among the middle school students who cheered when the announcement was made Thursday afternoon,” noted Tina Kryduba, clay teacher.

The art show was open for teachers to bring their classes throughout the school day to view the art work, and the public was welcome to view the show through the evening.

Creech has taken Clay I, Jewelry I, and Drawing I.
