A billboard will go up along Highway 10 advertising the Riverfront Concert Series in downtown Elk River.
A sponsorship agreement between the city of Elk River and The Bank of Elk River, which sponsors the concerts, includes a billboard promoting the concerts and the sponsor.
The billboard will run from May 27 through Aug. 18 and cost $1,052, which will come out of the city’s recreation marketing budget.
The free concerts kick off at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at River’s Edge Commons Park with Arch Allies, a tribute to Journey, REO and Styx. For a full schedule, go to www.ElkRiverMN.gov.
The bank has donated $14,000 for 2013 and is the sole corporate sponsor of the riverfront concerts, Kidstock, Chalk It Up and the Elk River farmers market.
