Softball: Spectrum sweeps St. Croix Prep 13-3 and 11-8

The Spectrum softball team won twice over St. Croix Prep on Saturday in Bayport, improving to 5-2 for the season.

The Sting won the opener 13-3 with three players going 3-for-4: Kira Lorenson (three RBI), Shelby Eden (two RBI) and Michah Pachl. Meghan Schroeder pitched, giving up eight hits and two walks, striking out four.

Haily Wallack knocked in four runs as the Sting completed the sweep 11-8. Wallac was 2-for-4, Schroeder 3-for-3 (three RBI) and Ellie Rogers 2-for-3 (triple, three RBI). Schroeder again pitched, allowing eight hits and two walks, striking out four.

Spectrum will host St. Crois Prep again Wednesday for two games in Nowthen.
