Land of Lakes Choirboys to perform at Zabee on Sunday

Land of Lakes Choirboys group has shared its gift of music and development of young men with the Elk River community for almost 40 years, and this year, for the first time, the Choirboys will present their Spring Concert and Silent Auction in Elk River, on Sunday, May 12 at the ERHS Zabee Theatre.

“This move is part of our overall emphasis to re-position our organization within the community that we have called home for almost 40 years,” said Aaron Carpenter, music director. “The Elk River community has been very supportive … not only musically, but developmentally with these boys …  We are making strides in re-introducing the community to the musical treasure they have in their own backyard.”

LOLCB is selling its property in Nowthen to make a move back in to Elk River, a press release stated. They were originally located at Highway 10 and County Road 15 before the state built the off-ramp for CR 15 at that site.

The dessert reception and silent auction begins at 2:30 p.m. The concert begins at 4 p.m.
