Lacrosse: ERZ girls outlast Osseo-PC 15-12 for 6th straight win

Mackenzie Perna drilled six goals and Emily Antony had five to lead unbeaten Elk River-Rogers-Zimmerman in a 15-12 win over Osseo-Park Center on Wednesday in Osseo.

Alleah Baltzer  added two goals and Annie Dalton and Alix Zierden one each for ERZ (6-0). Antony made five assists and Perna three. In the nets, Cassie Conrad stopped three of nine shots on goal in the first half, and Kim Scott stopped five of 11 in the second half.

“We played great as a team,” said coach Stephanie Anderson. “The defense was talking well and the girls were getting open and setting it up in the¬†offensive side.”

Defensively solid were Scott, Reistad, Soppeland, and Baltzer.

ERZ will host Becker on Friday.
