Morgan Rask shot a career-best 69, leading the Rogers Royals to first place in the Lions Invitational at Fox Hollow on Friday.
Rogers shot 303 in wind, sleet and low-30′s temperature, 14 strokes ahead of Providence Academy, ranked No. 1 in Class AA.
Rask, a senior, shot 3-under-par, including a birdie on No. 4 and an eagle on No. 5, and placed first by four strokes. He picked up his third career medal, and second in two nights, after tying for first in a conference meet at Fox Hollow on Thursday.
Josh Jacobson of Minneapolis Southwest shot 73, Paul Stankey of Providence Academy 75, Dylan Kline of Rogers 76, Ben Goodwin of Providence Academy 77, and Rocky Nelson of Rogers 78.
Other Rogers scores were 80′s by Kyle Korva and Luke Bunkers, and 93 by Abe Schweiters.
Korva also eagled No. 5 with a 60-yard shot that rattled the stick and dropped in.
The Royals will compete with a tough field including Providence, Wayzata, Eden Prairie and Forest Lake at Forest Hills on Saturday.
