Tennis: Elks fend off Armstrong 6-1

The Elk River tennis stay remained undefeated in conference play turning back Armstrong 6-1 at home Thursday. The Falcons won a 3-setter at No. 1 doubles, last match completed, to avert the shutout. The Elks are 6-0 in conference, extending their six-year win streak to 66, and 9-1 overall. They are scheduled to play at Park Center on Friday.
