Track: Thunder boys tie for 2nd at Princeton meet

The Zimmerman Thunder boys tied for second place among nine teams at the Princeton Invitational on Thursday.

Princeton scored 147 and the Thunder and Big Lake had 123 each. Mora, New Life Academy, Rockford, Spectrum, West Lutheran and Little Falls trailed.

For Zimmerman, Dustin Neseth won shot put (42-8) and was second in discus (121-1).
Travis Carr was second in the 100 dash (12.29) and 200 dash (24.71) and fifth in long jump (18-0).

Storm Heyer was fourth in the 100 and fourth in long jump (18-2). Jordan Griffin was second in triple jump (38-0) and Tyler Asmus fourth (35-6). Tyler Lorden was fourth in the 400 (56.39). The 4×100 team was second (48.17).

Next is a meet at Totino-Grace in Fridley next Thursday.
