Track: Spectrum gets two firsts, two seconds at Princeton meet

Spectrum tracksters picked up two first-places and two second-places at the Princeton Invitational on Thursday as the Sting girls placed with and the boys seventh in a 10-schoo meet.

For the girls, Kayla Zimmerman won the 800 with 2:30.92, while Sarina Staurseth won triple jump with 31-10.

Rebecca Peterson was second in the 3200 (12:09) and Staurseth fourth in the 300H (54.65).

For the boys, Kevin Diekman was second in 110 high hurdles (17.08) and fourth in the 300 (43.81). Nick Kopp was fourth in the 800 (2:22).

Spectrum will compete at Maple Lake on Tuesday.
