The Rogers Royals banged out 13 hits and picked up their second straight lopsided win 11-0 over St. Cloud Tech at home on Monday.
Freshman Emily Hanford drilled a homer and single and knocked in three runs. Abbie Lien was 3-for-4, Ellie Anserson 2-for-2, Madi Anderson 2-fopr-4 and Madie Mikolich 2-for-3, with Anserson and Mikolich each knocking in two runs.
Katelyn Kemmetmueller struck out seven in three innings, and Emma Swanson finished with two shutout innings, allowing two hits.
“We’re a young team and need some work at the plate,” said Chris Donnay, assistant coach, “but these girls are very athletic.”
Rogers (2-0), which beat Princeton 11-1 in their opener Friday, will play at STMA on Tuesday.
