The annual Family Fun Night at The Handke Center will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 3.
The event is sponsored by District 728 Community Education, Early Childhood Family Education and BRIDGES (Bringing Resources Information, Direction and Guidance to Everyone in Sherburne County.
The event is also co-sponsored by The Creative Therapy Center, Statewide Health Improvement Program and the Elk River Area Early Childhood Coalition.
The event celebrates children’s mental health and wellness. It is free. There will be bounce houses, carnival games, an obstacle course, face painting, tatoos, coloring, crafts and prizes.
Special attractions include a nature playground, a family cooking tour, the ECFE Art Room and a play therapy room. There will also be community resource booths with information on area resources, services and supports.
