Youth Theatre Workshop’s production of “Peter Pan” opened last weekend with capacity crowds (250) in three of four showings at Elk River High School’s Little Theatre. There will be five more shows — Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 and 6 p.m. The audiences had a fun time watching Peter Pan protect his friends from the scheming Captain Hook and his rollicking band of pirates, along with several colorful, lively music and dance numbers by talented children from the community.  The director is Eileen Anderson, and music director is Brian Budahn. The cast of 80 kids and two adults includes Tyler Mueller and Joseph Anderson as Peter Pan, Tess Trombley and Shelby Swenson as Wendy, Emily Bowersox as Tinkerbell, and Russ Branjord as Captain Hook.
