A Spring Celebration of Birds, Plants and Nature will be held 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge near Zimmerman.
The schedule includes:
•International Migratory Bird Day Bird Tour: 7-11 a.m. Meet guides at refuge headquarters to begin the tour.
•Dragonfly and bumblebee citizen science project information: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
•Friends of Sherburne annual plant sale: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
•Kids Nature Crafts: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
•Eagle’s Nest Nature Store: 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All activities are at the refuge headquarters, located on County Road 9 five miles west of Highway 169.
