THUNDER BOYS GOLF

Coach — Kurran Sagan
Last year — 2nd in conference
Opener — April 8, Becker Inv.
Returning lettermen — Derek Faulkner (sr), Cody Slocum (sr), David Molinari (jr), Max McNulty (jr)
Will also  help — Justin Diegnau (jr), Tyler Theisen (jr), Cletis Weitnauer (so), Ben Berry (fr), Levi Thoreson (fr), Sam McNulty (fr)
Coach  says — “After finishing 2nd in the GRC  last year, we have high hopes. It will really depend on who plays consistent at the top and who plays well to earn the 5th and 6th varsity spots. …  We know the courses a little better this year.  …  Our expectation is to be in the top 3 of the GRC if the weather ever permits us to play.”

THUNDER SOFTBALL

Coach — Emily Zahn
Last year —  3-9, 4-17
Opener — April 8, Monticello
Returning starters — Katelyn Bauer (sr OF), Morgan Feldick (sr 2B), Heather McCormick (sr 1B), Gabby Antolak (jr C), Maddie Roisum (so 3B), Ashley Ryding (so CF), Carlie Lage (fr SS), Ashley Pool (fr P)

Coach says — “We didn’t graduate anyone, so we return almost an entire starting line up. … I have four upperclassmen that are exceptional leaders with great work ethics. … Many of the girls have committed themselves to off-season training, and I can already see the difference.”

Coach — Matt Kraus

Coach says — “I have been really proud and happy of their effort thus far. … We will be young, but we are doing a lot of little things correct right now, which will eventually pay off. … The beauty of this game is that anything can happen on any day. We are looking forward to the season; now if the snow would only melt!”
