Volunteer Bridge will host expo April 18

The Volunteer Bridge is hosting the fifth annual “Volunteer Opportunity Expo” 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Elk River Activity Center, 413 Proctor Ave.

This event is an opportunity for all community members to explore options for local volunteer service.

Many of the 30-plus Volunteer Bridge member organizations from the greater Sherburne County area will have representatives on hand to answer questions about their agencies. Learn how they engage volunteers in their mission and how new volunteers can help in a way that fits their own passion, skill and time available.

All ages are welcome and encouraged to explore the possibilities.

The expo will also include a silent auction and bake sale to support volunteerism in the community. This event is hosted by the Volunteer Bridge and sponsored by The Bank of Elk River.
