Curtain rises 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Rogers Middle School.

“It will be a delight for the audience to see their favorite ‘Peanuts’ characters come to life,” said director Hope Murray.  “It’s a very energetic, high energy show, with a lot of fun vignettes taken right from Charles M. Schulz’s comic strip.”
Thirteen years after Schulz’s death, his wonderful characters resonate with young and old.
“Cast members have been researching not only the musical but the comic strip characters as well,” Murray said. “It’s a very committed group and a very talented one. ”

Murray, a Maple Grove resident, has worked with several community theatre, college and high school plays. This is her first directorship at Rogers, which is staging its third annual spring musical.
