Basketball: Thunder boys season ends with 76-61 loss to Cloquet

The Zimmerman Thunder’s season ended with a first-round playoff loss to Cloquet 76-61 on Friday evening in Cloquet.

The Lumberjacks (18-9) got 33 points from center Adam Laine as they avenged an 80-79, four overtime loss to the Thunder in December.

Jake Wilson scored 22 points, Noah Lunning 12, Kristian Bright 9, Tyler Theisen 9,  Brandon Sevre 8 and Travis Carr 1 for Zimmerman.

The Thunder finished 8-18 with nine straight losses.
