Community Aid Elk River (CAER) announced this week that Carmen Pouliot has been named the new executive director.

Pouliot was previously the associate director, which allows her to bring five years of experience to the new role, along with a thorough understanding of CAER’s operations, community partners and programs.

“We are excited to see Carmen advance within CAER,” said CAER board chair Fred St. Jean. “She brings a tremendous amount of knowledge to the role, but more importantly has a true passion for CAER’s mission.”

Pouliot officially began her new role as executive director on March 1.  Her advancement in positions will create a future opening for the associate director role.
