Harley-Davidson motorcyclists took to the streets recently for a ride around town. They used their cars and trucks to get around to fire hydrants buried in the snow.
Members of the Elk River Zylstra’s Harley Owners Group (HOG) dug out 33 fire hydrants on Feb. 16.
“Hopefully we made the city a little safer,” said HOG leader Mike Hangaard.
In turn, the motorcyclists are hopeful that motorists will keep a lookout for them this spring when they take to the roads to do what they really love to do.
HOG Members Ron Nelson, Hangaard, Curt Olson, Gary Peak and Dave Otis. They even dug out around the hydrant across from the Star News.
