An “International Adoption Conversation” will run from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 20 at the Handke Center in Elk River. This one-session event costs $5 and is sponsored by District 728 Community Education.
Parents of children adopted from another country are invited to share their stories, connect with other families and share resources.
The discussion will be led by two parents of adopted children, Beth Britt and Gretchen Poppe. Britt is the mother of an adult daughter from Korea, and Poppe is the mother of a middle school-aged daughter from China. This session is for adults only.
