Woman killed in crash identified as Van De Walker; funeral is Saturday
The 27-year-old St. Francis woman who was killed in a head-on collision Sunday morning has been identified as Suzanah Van De Walker.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office released the name after confirming all of her family had been notified.
Van De Walker, who was married and had two children, was on her way home from work at Rockwoods at the time of the crash.
The motorist who crashed into her has been jailed and charged with criminal vehicular homicide for negligent drive while under the influence of alcohol.
Friends and co-workers of Van De Walker at Rockwoods have set up a memorial fund at Wells Fargo. Stay tuned for more details.

Suzanah Jane Van De Walker (Huntington) – Mother, wife, daughter m and friend – Was taken from us on February 24, 2013. She will be remembered as an amazing mother to her two boys, Tucker and Jackson, and as loving wife to Joshua. Suzanah was kind, caring, fun , energetic, and a great friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her brother Joshua Huntington, paternal grandparents Joann and Walter Huntington, maternal grandfather Donald Bruns, and great-grandmother Mary Ames. She will be missed be her loving husband Joshua, precious children Tucker and Jackson, father Terry Huntington, mother Karri-Lou Ames, sister Valerie Huntington, maternal grandmother Jane Bruns, and great-grandparents Rose and Bus Bruno. She will be missed and forever loved by her family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 2nd, 2013, Funeral Service at 3:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church 3812 229th Ave. NW St. Francis, N 55070 Rockwood Grill and Banquet will be providing food and refreshments immediately after the Service.
