Basketball: Januschka, Cathedral top Thunder girls 73-61

The Zimmerman girls lost a Granite Ridge Conference game to St. Cloud Cathedral 73-61 on Thursday evening in St. Cloud.

Jenna Januschka  dominated the game with 29 points and 15 rebounds for the Crusaders (11-3 conference, 16-8 overall). Sophie Harris added 19 points.

Heather McCormock and Lexi Weimeri scored 12 each, Brooke Borchardt 10 and Sabrina Steinke 8 to lead Zimmerman (3-11 conference, 9-15 overall).

Zimmerman will host Mora on Tuesday.
