Snow Week at Spectrum High School concluded with a basketball doubleheader on Friday evening that included a dance team performance and introduction of royalty at halftime of both games.
The Sting girls beat Cambridge Christian 53-42 with senior guard Shelby Eden netting 16 points and junior guard Rachel Stevenson 15. Eden made four 3-pointers. Senior center Beca Gleason and freshman guard Noelle Diekman added 6 each for the Sting (9-12).

The Sting boys lost to Cambridge Christian 77-62. Peter Maring led the Warriors with 22 points. Senior forward Andy Fellner and freshman guard Zach Knollenberg each scored 19 for Spectrum (5-15) with Knollenberg sinking five 3-pointers. Junior center Niki Mayer added 12 points.
The Sting girls’ next game will be Monday against FAIR Charter in Crystal. The Sting boys will host Mayer Lutheran on Tuesday.
