Zimmerman’s Ortberg, Jopp, Ashley, Schlegel sign with college teams

Two Zimmerman football players and two track athletes signed with college programs on Wednesday, the school announced.

Cassie Ortberg

Cory Jopp, a football lineman, signed with UM-Moorhead.

Collin Ashley, a running back and defensive back, signed with Concordia-St. Paul.

Cassie Ortberg, state Class AA runner-up in 300 hurdles last year, signed with the UM-Duluth track team.

Chelsea Schlegel signed with Southwest State of Marshall for track and cross country.
