Local comic Nick Anthony headlining at Pasadena club

Elk River native Nick Anthony is celebrating his 10th anniversary of performing stand-up comedy this month, while headlining at the Icehouse Comedy Club in Pasadena, Calif., according to a press release.

Anthony, who released his first comedy album in the past year, also has 10 shows in 10 days in New York City scheduled for Feb. 1 through 11, the press release stated.

“This last year has been amazing,” reflected Anthony. “I’m extremely excited about the future.”

Anthony’s album “Professional Child” can be found on i-Tunes. He said he has entered the advanced TV writing program at UCLA and recently finished his first TV pilot.
