The Elk River-Rogers-Zimmerman gymnasts posted their 41st straight dual meet win, beating Centennial in their closest meet of the year, 134.575 to 129.1, on Thursday evening in Circle Pines.

The Elks, working on their fourth straight unbeaten season and NWSC championship, are 7-0 in conference and 8-0 overall. They will close the regular season hosting Park Center next Thursday.

“Great meet for the team,” said Elk coach Jackie Deiley, adding that scoring was lower than usual but the judges were consistent. “Centennial looked solid as well.”
