Bost, Henry “Hank” A. age 78, of Zimmerman, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Jan 24, 2013
Preceded in death by his wife Joyce on Nov 27, 2012, son Randy, parents Henry C. and Pearl E. Nunn; brothers, Clarence “Shorty”, Lawrence “Bud” and William; sisters Ruth Sproessig, Wilma Rotz and Rosemary Littlewolf.
Survived by his children Timothy, Nancy (Kevin) Hiller, Garry (Susan), Christine (Robert) Sandberg, Matthew (fiancé Jennifer Hauser), Mark (Jessica), Angel (Joseph) Rosa, Kathleen (Thomas) Budish and Peter. 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Also survived by his brother John (Loretta), Aunt Doris Jaenicke and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Korean War Veteran; long-time member of St. John Lutheran Church. He was also a devoted volunteer and was recently inducted into the Three Rivers Community Foundation Hall of Fame. After retiring from Federal Cartridge Company after 3o + years of dedicated service. He became a part-time taxidermist.
Hank enjoyed being with his family, playing guitar, singing and entertaining.
Funeral service 11 AM Monday, January 28, 2013, at St John Lutheran Church, 13045 Fremont Ave., Zimmerman.
Visitation 2-6 PM Sunday at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main St. NW, Elk River, 763-441-1212, and 1 hour prior to service at the church.
Interment Bellwood Cemetery, Zimmerman.
Memorials preferred to CAER of Elk River or Passing the Bread of Zimmerman in lieu of flowers.
