Basketball: Mora overcomes Wilson, Thunder 67-58

Torrid shooting by Jake Wilson was not enough for Zimmerman to overcome Mora on Thursday evening at home as the Mustangs  handed the Thunder a 67-58 loss.

Wilson, 6-6 senior forward, rang up 29 points, making 11 of 13 field goals and 7-for-10 at the line. He also logged 8 rebounds, 5 steals and 2 blocks.

The rest of the Thunder lineup had a tough night, making a combined 8 of 36 shots. Noah Lunning was next with 7 points.

No data was available for Mora at this posting. The Mustangs are 5-2 in the Granite Ridge and 12-3 overall. Zimmmerman is 3-4 and 7-8.

The Thunder will play at Little Falls on Tuesday.
