Hockey: Rogers boys blank St. Louis Park 4-0

The Rogers Royals broke a three-game winless streak beating St. Louis Park 4-0 at home Tuesday evening, capped by a three-goal third period.

The Royals nursed a1-0 lead until they came alive for three goals in a span of 4:20 early in the third period. Scoring were Jason Roberge (Alexander Lorman, Nate Weber assisting), Jake Good (Kyle Ellis, Blake Miller) and Matt Hellickson (Brandon Spah, Lorman).

Jacob Walker scored in the second period, with Spah and Kyle Korva assisting.
The Royals had a 46-17 edge on shots with Blake Ternus in goal for the shutout.

Rogers will play at STMA next Tuesday.
